Brian, who changed his name to Kai Skye, and Fia Skye focus on art that features themes of health, happiness, and resilience of the human spirit. Fia Skye has been a creative mind for her entire life. Receiving her MFA in acting from the University of Washington, she has a wealth of experience in several creative professions including acting, writing, and teaching among others.
The story of how this duo met is as interesting as the works of art they create. Kai & Fia met back in 2015 – the two had an instant connection and decided to travel across the country just six months after meeting. They traveled almost 7000 miles across 14 states over three months. On their trip, they created their manifesto ‘Creative Anarchy’, which examines the idea of being present at each moment in life. This experience created a powerful bond between the two which is tangible in all their collaborations.
The couple’s artistic home is Flying Edna studio in the quaint coastal town of Sandwich, Massachusetts. Each of their pieces has a unique personality all their own and the work they create speaks to their message of presence and awareness.

The Skye’s are committed to the environment, the entirety of the work they create is recyclable, sustainable and ethical. They spend time sourcing their materials making sure to find the most environmentally friendly options for their work. They work with small businesses and use certified green companies to source other environmentally friendly materials for their work.
