Ananda Khalsa Jewelry Bluebird PaintingIf you have visited us at Stowe Craft Gallery I am sure that you have noticed the vibrant display of Ananda Khalsa Jewelry with teeny tiny paintings in them. Ananda starts by creating an original painting using acrylic paints on watercolor paper. These are teeny tiny paintings and take great care and need for attention. After the painting is finished, Ananda sets the painting behind hand ground glass and backs them with 22k gold or sterling silver. Much of her jewelry is accented with semiprecious stones and/or high karat gold. (more…)
