Jewelry Made with Antique Gold Lace
Her jewelry is made using hard to find antique materials. Did you ever hear of spun gold lace? Well, back in the 1920s and 30s, gold metal lace was a fashion phenomenon in London and Paris. The material was created back then using an intricate process of finely drawn metal, spun around silk. The techniques & equipment used to make it vanished over 85 years ago.
Contemporary Flair
Ms. Kole collects this antique lace and adds a contemporary flair to each design. She often offsets the metal lace with glittering Swarovski crystals. So every piece is a true collector’s item.
If you love jewelry & haven’t had the chance to see this rare material, you will certainly enjoy a visit to Stowe Craft for this trunk show.
