Bathroom Decor Ideas
This condo is about 30 years old. The bathroom and powder room were the original designs and layout installed back then. After getting to know what the clients like and don't like, I developed fresh industrial modern bathroom designs for them.
The theme was to be solid & earthy with rich colors and new storage solutions. In the porcelain shower we installed new "wood-look" tiles. The shower inset and seat also have "wood-look" tile accents. I had a cabinet custom made to fit with repurposed old wood.
The countertops were updated with easy care Corian in a deep rich color.
The wood theme carried over into the water closet room with practical wood shelves providing ample storage.
Small Powder Room Makeover
The Powder room is simple but interesting. Bronze and glass sconces adorn the mirror. The mirror is made from an industrial wooden pattern. The cabinet is wood and steel reclaimed from an abandoned manufacturing plant. The cabinet stands on reclaimed steel feet as well. The vessel sink has a strong presence in patinaed copper with bronze finish faucets.
