Jeanne Amato | Silo - Limited Edition Woodcut Print
Silo is a limited edition woodcut print handmade by Jeanne Amato, a long time apprentice and studio assistant of Sabra Field. You can see the parallels between their Vermont inspired work fairly easily. This print shows the classic red Vermont silo and barn. We love the pop of color in this small but mighty piece!
This print portrays the details of a classic red Vermont barn and silo. A lot of detail is captured in the aging wood of the barn. The texture on the silo and roof of the barn create a realistic look in the wood. The bright red of this print is very eye-catching making for an interesting centerpiece & sure to bring a sense of nostalgia.
"This small woodcut is of a lovely silo and barn in Guilford, Vermont where I lived for a short time. Barns are such a wonderful architectural addition to the Vermont landscape and I am always looking for my next inspiration!" ~ Jeanne Amato
