Autumn Afternoon by Vermont artist Jeanne Amato is a handmade woodblock print from a limited edition of 150. A long time apprentice and studio assistant of Sabra Field, this print is one of the first woodcuts Jeanne made of her favorite tree, the white birch. The wonderful shadows and texture give the gentle birch its graceful form. Autumn light illuminates paper white tree trunks in soft pink and adds a yellow glow to a distant hilltop. This piece is large enough to be a focal point and soft enough to coincide with some of your favorite artwork and photographs.
