Marcie Scudder | The In Between
Three empty hay carts sit together overlooking the mountains. This shot creates an interesting dichotomy between the rigid geometric shapes and the natural background of pristine fields & mountains with rolling fog. It is further intensified in the framing of the shot, each hay cart is spaced equidistant from each other and the border of the shot. Rural photography like Marcie’s has the ability to conjure deeper thoughts of man-made vs nature.
