Marcie Scudder | Softness of Age
A gray barn with a metal roof rusts & softens with age, a flock of wild turkeys congregate outside. A beautiful composition, the roof of the barn travels the full width and over half the length of the photograph which allows plenty of space to view the complex colors & textures created by the rust. The scene blends nature with man made structures, the aged textures of the barn lend it a natural appearance. Rural photography like Marcie’s displays well with other rustic pieces, natural and exposed woods, and adds a soft touch to contemporary furnishings.
