Steel Table Lamp on Wood with Large Drum Shade. Beautiful handmade modern rustic table lamps by Janna Ugone. These lamps are hand forged, welded steel & reclaimed wood base is topped with a steel oxide pewter finial and pull charm. Janna's Midnight sky features charming pierced constellations; Orion, Big Dipper, Bootes, Triangulum, Cassiopeia and Cepheus. Original hand painted birch bark design offers a warm glow that brings nature in. A painterly midline border, reminiscent of classic Pendleton woven blankets, adds a touch of color to this rustic table lamp that feels at home in myriad settings. Shades are made from archival giclees, handmade, signed, dated and hallmarked. A giclee printing technique was utilized to create the design featured on the lampshade. Giclee printing use more paint sprayers than traditional inkjet printers allowing for much higher resolution images & prints that last far longer. This technique produces extremely high fidelity prints that better represent the original work. When illuminated the lamp produces a warm glow that highlights different aspects of the art, the shade is also selectively pierced to allow light to twinkle through different sections.
