Randy Adams | Copper Maple Tree Sculpture on Slate
Copper twisted wire tree sculpture by Vermont artist Randy Adams. Each of Randy’s wire sculptures are wrapped and twisted by hand. This tree sculpture provides rich red tones and the classic elegance that’s expected of copper.
This sculpture is inspired by the maple trees that surround Randy’s home - Vermont’s State Tree, the sugar maple, which provides the highest quality maple syrup, high quality wood for furniture, and world famous foliage for leaf peepers and locals every autumn.
This wire tree sculpture appears to grow out of a slab of slate which has cushiony felt buttons or plastic bumpers on the underside. Each piece of Vermont slate is handpicked by the artist, signed, then sealed with a protective glaze.
