CJ Hockett | Two Red Crown Cranes
Classic couple! The red crown crane is a very special bird. They mate for life and every February in Japan, these birds reunite. They are photographed here doing their courtship dance. They renew their bond during these elaborate dance displays.
CJ Hockett’s Dancing Red Crown Cranes is a brilliant metal print created by infusing dyes directly into a lightweight, specially coated aluminum sheet for a satin finish. It floats half an inch off the wall for a modern sculptural look.
